Good location in central Ubud. Had a nice room with view of rice paddy. Decent breakfast of egg, toast, bacon, coffee and croissant etc. Pool is good.Free wi-fi in lobby
No bbc, cnn channels. Only one Australian English channel. Had one or two minor issues with water and power but fixed very quickly.
Yulia Village Hotel was a lovely quiet hotel with nice helpful staff a lovley small pool to cool off in after shopping and exploring the wonderful Ubud area. The rooms were spacious clean and neat. Situated in a great spot close to everything in Ubud, far enough away from the monkey forest for them not to bother you but just a short walk to visit them if you like that sort of thing. Breakfast was very good too. We would definately stay again.
path to rooms not easy to carry suitcase over the stepping stones but staff willing to help.
Good location, in the main street in ubud
We did not like this hotel. It was ok at first sight but then wediscovered that : -ONE OF THE LIGHT OF OUR ROOM DID NOT WORK. IT MEANS THAT WE HAD TO CUT OFF THE WHOLE ELECTRICITY OF THE ROOM TOBE ABLE TO SLEEP !! -THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH STAFF MEMBERS -THE BREAKFAST WAS REALLY SLOW TO BE SERVED AND WHEN I ASKED FOR EXTRA CEREALS THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME (CHEAP BUT THAT IS STRANGE TO LIMIT ACCESS TO CEREAL)
The staff were very friendly and happy to help with queries and requests. Mostly quiet surroundings and peaceful when one needed to have a rest from the outside tourist trade. Easy access to most places of interest in Ubud.
The staff were very helpful, breakfast included, free WiFi, clean, sat tv, pool.
On dirty monkey forest road. If that's where you want to be but you can rent a house on the outskirts of the city for $100 a week. Less than 2 nights stay here.
Good location near the center of Ubud, friendly staff, very quiet, peacefull and clean hotel.Good value for money. We liked everything.
The room had a nice view
The breakfast was the worse of all the hotels we stayed in ..lousy coffee and tea ..not generous . was asked to pay whilst arriving -maybe they have had trouble with previous guests ?
The Rooms bedding and furniture is Old....
Good Location, near to monkey forest, the staff always smile to you
The air condition is too noisy
Thr central location is the top feature of the hotel
The washrooms are old and definitely need renew. Restaurant looks old eg battered cover on coffee pot
The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for a box to pack our stuff and they quickly helped us find one. We had a room at the garden view and we loved it because our child could play outside.
We had quite a few choices for breakfast. Everything tasted good except that the local delights tasted bland. Average facilities and the room needed some renovation.
THe staff at Yulia Village were lovely, the breakfast was very good.
The rooms were very old and tired. The bed was very uncomfortable.
the location and value for money can not be beaten. Shopping, the monkey forest, dining and yoga (try bodyworks) are right on your doorstep. Excellent water pressure in showers, clean (pretty) swimming pool, room serviced daily, attentive staff, great breakfasts. I felt very safe here as a woman travelling on my own. This is the third hotel i have stayed at in ubud in the last few months. It is the cheapest and also the best. I will stay at yulia village inn again.
there is some noise from neighbouring bars at night. This is inevitable as the inn is right behind the monkey forest road. It you want complete quiet stay out of town. Fittings are worn but for the price this is a given. I do think this is the best value for money in ubud.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool though small was nice and the gardens were lovely too. The room was fine for the price. The location, if you want to be in the middle of town, was excellent and the main reason I chose this hotel. Overall I would be happy to stay here agian.
Only that the bathroom could do with an upgrade and the rooms downstairs were a little dark
Value for money its a basic and affordable accomodation in central Ubud. Rooms are clean and comfortable with very friendly staff
